Tommy Miller has vowed to play through the pain barrier in his quest to help Ipswich Town reach the play-offs.
The Blues midfielder is struggling with tendinitis to the extent he can only train twice a week and had another scan yesterday.
But, resigned to the fact that rest is the only cure, he told the Evening Gazette: "There's no way I want to miss any games because of it.
"I'm suffering with quite a bit of soreness in my knee especially first thing in the morning but we've worked out a routine whereby I only do full training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
"The rest of the week I just work with the physio. Saturday was the first time I've felt the injury during a game, but that was partly because of the heavy pitch."
Despite the tendinitis, Miller has established himself as a key member of Joe Royle's squad at Portman Road.
