At last - weeks of hard work have paid off for the caring pupils at East Tilbury Junior School, and Pudsey Bear will be impressed by their efforts.
The children have been busy since November, raking in the money they raised for Children In Need through various sponsored events.

Now all the cash is in - a tremendous £3,139 - and the school in Princess Margaret Road is preparing to send a cheque off to the BBC telethon appeal.
The enthusiastic youngsters took part in a wide range of activities, including a toy sale arranged and run by Class 3B; a Guess the Number of Sweets jar, set up by Ricky Damm; a raffle of Pudsey Bear goods; a non-uniform day and a even sponsored spell.
