Former Borough of Southend swimmer Mark Foster is in action today as the FINA World Cup moves to Stockholm.
Billericay-born Foster will be aiming to follow up the 50m freestyle gold he won in the Paris leg on Saturday.
The Swedish capital is hosting the sixth of the seven World Cup meetings and Foster will be aiming for his third medal of the campaign.
His gold in Paris came in a time of 21.47 and was 0.34 slower than when he set the world record of 21.13 in the French capital two years ago.
Foster, 32, claimed silver in meeting four at Melbourne, his first leg in this year's cup. His time of 21.75 saw him trail Dutch ace Pieter Van Den Hoogenband by three hundredths of a second.
