A football coach today spoke of his shock after scooping £50,000 of prizes on a national TV show fronted by Ant and Dec.
Paul Westwood, of Westborough Road, Westcliff, said he was "gobsmacked" after winning the prizes - including three holidays and two cars - on Saturday Night Takeaway.
The 38-year-old, who is married with a 12-year-old daughter, gambled four prizes, which included a dream holiday.
The gamble paid off and he walked away with a trip to New Zealand, another to America, a mini-break in the UK, a Lexus car, a Ford Fiesta and £500 cash.
Mr Westwood, a sales manager who coaches the Monaco football team in the Southend Sunday League, was picked at random from the audience.
He said: "I was just shell-shocked and I still can't believe I've won all this. All that was going through my mind was I wish I could see everyone's reaction back at home."
