Romaine Sabini, 34, of Cambridge Road, Southend, freed after serving half of a 28-day jail sentence for failing to send her daughter Lois to school, hit out today at her sentence.
"My case wasn't the most serious in court but I was jailed and others weren't," she said.
She admitted the offence to Southend magistrates after Lois, 15, failed to attend St Bernard's School, Westcliff.
