Heybridge Swifts are not flying at the moment. A disappointing run of form has seen the club win only two of their last 13 matches and drop just one place above the relegation zone of the Ryman League premier division.

Manager Dave Greene hasn't been helped with injuries depleting his squad, but he realises Swifts should be doing much better.

Unlike many struggling teams, leaking goals is not the problem.

Swifts have tightened up at the back in their last two matches and have looked solid.

Getting the ball in the back of the net is, however, becoming a much bigger worry for Greene.

Last Saturday's 1-1 draw at bottom-of-the-table side Hampton and Richmond proved that Swifts are having no luck in finishing their chances.

"We could have missed five or ten chances on Saturday and still won by five clear goals," said Greene.

"I thought Akpo Sodje and Paul Abrahams played well, they created plenty of opportunities, but that final ball is going wide, or over - we're just not having any luck."

Heybridge are still without goalkeeper Kingsley Banks (illness) and Andy Tomlinson (knee).

There are also doubts over Adam Gillespie and Danny Barber, who picked up knocks at Hampton
