A south Essex hairdresser proved she was a cut above the rest by keeping her job on Channel 4 reality TV show The Salon.
And her boss Lee Stafford says Carina Harris, nicknamed Blondie, will be a hit on the programme despite seeming "as dozy as a brush".
The 18-year-old, who started her hairdressing career in her home town of Pitsea and now works at Staffords, in London Road, Leigh, is appearing on the Channel 4 programme broadcast each weekday.
It features the ups and downs of a salon in London run by bosses, including Adee Phelan, who works at Strangeways in Elm Road, Leigh. Lee said: "Carina is brilliant for the programme because she's got a great personality. She's seems to be as dozy as a brush, but she's really endearing and funny at the same time.
"She also looks great so I knew she would be great. It's fantastic for her and I think she will be a hit on the show."
The programme, which is running for nine weeks, is broadcast at 6pm and shows highlights of the preceding 24 hours with interviews with staff and customers.
