Canvey Island are moving closer to having a full squad available as they head for a crunch period in their fight for Ryman Premier honours.
Most players had a run-out either in Tuesday's Bryco Cup success at Hitchin or the 4-0 home reserve win over Witham the following night with just Spencer Knight and Matt Jones still injured.
Outstanding form - Canvey's Lee Boylan is shooting for success
Midfielder Lee Protheroe completes a two-match suspension after tomorrow's home game with Aylesbury.
Coach Glenn Pennyfather said: "We're likely to play ten of our 21 remaining League games between tomorrow and the end of February and that, along with our commitments in knockout competitions, means that we are likely to need everyone.
"In the reserve match it was good to see Scott Forbes, Ross Johnson and Kevin Dobinson come through without problems after spells out through injury, while recent signings Ollie Berquez and Gavin Cowan, both of whom were ineligible for the Bryco game and last week's FA Trophy match, also got some action under their belts."
Latest signing Jukka Ruhanen, the Finnish international, made his full debut in Tuesday's 3-1 Bryco win, but may have to wait a little longer for his Ryman debut with returning Steve Parmenter set to replace banned Protheroe in midfield tomorrow.
