The first stage of rolling out Witham's controversial recycling scheme to Braintree and Bocking is taking place.
New clear sacks are to be delivered to Braintree and Bocking households so they can have the same recycling scheme as other areas.
Clear recycling sacks will be given to 9,000 properties for fortnightly collections, starting from Monday so they can recycle cans, plastic bottles and textiles.
It means residents in Braintree, Bocking, and the surrounding villages of Rayne, Black Notley, Great Notley and Cressing will all get the same service.
