A team of pupils from a Colchester school gained first place in a construction competition for the second year running.
The team of five, aged between 15 and 16, from St Benedict's College took part in the National Construction Week held at Anglia Polytechnic University.
Representing the school were James Deeney, Rachel Quartly, Laura Smillie, Michael Bacon and Emma Grant and they took part in a series of design and construction tasks where the emphasis was on teamwork skills.
Essex Construction Curriculum Centre at APU and the Essex Training Group of Construction Companies organised the event, which was supported nationally by the Construction Industry Training Board.
A special school assembly will be held with the five pupils receiving a cheque for £300 for the school to spend.
