A south Essex company and two of its directors were appearing at court today to face manslaughter charges following the death of teenage worker Dean Butler, 15, at Rainbow Shaw Quarry in Linford in December 2001.
Clearserve, the company operating the quarry, is charged with corporate manslaughter.
Directors Lewis Courtney, 54, and James Holland, 47, will each face a charge of manslaughter at Grays Magistrates' Court.
