Chris Makin believes Ipswich Town have rediscovered their 'golden touch' despite squandering a host of chances at Burnley.
The defender - available for selection again after serving a two-match suspension - insists his team-mates are firing on all cylinders in the striking department.
And, relishing the prospect of getting back in action against Preston on Saturday, Makin told the Evening Gazette: "The lads have rediscovered their golden touch.
"You only have to look at our results in the last month - not to mention goals for column - to see that.
"That aspect was the only thing missing in the first few months of the season when we were struggling.
"But now we're back in form and we've made our place a bit of a fortress.
"It's a cliche in football but that's so important. We need to win all our home games and there's certainly no reason why we can't beat Preston."
