Heybridge Swifts are at home to Hendon in the FA Trophy third round (kick off 7.30pm).
Swifts will be without Kingsley Banks (illness), Danny Wornham (ankle) and Andy Tomlinson (knee).
The good news for manager Dave Greene is that captain John Pollard is back, along with Jamie Window.
"Pollard will give us a bit of fight," said Greene, who feels that it's time for the Swifts team to 'get their sleeves rolled up'.
He added: "The most important thing is putting in a good performance.
"If we lose to a better team, but put our heart and soul into the performance then I won't be disappointed."
Clacton are hoping for their first action of the new year in tonight's hastily rearranged match with Ipswich Wanderers (kick-off 7.45pm).
Mark Burgess, Damian Gilbert and Brian Sutton are sidelined with long-term injuries.
