Billericay Town are appealing for fans to come to the rescue to ensure tomorrow's Ryman Premier home derby with Braintree goes ahead.
The New Lodge surface is covered with snow and officials are hoping supporters will join a working party to clear it tomorrow morning to stop the club falling further behind with their fixtures.
Billericay have played only 23 league games -- four less than some rivals -- and are desperate for a return to action after having four of their last five games postponed.
Groundsman John Mason is leaving a snow covering on the pitch until the morning to protect the surface from frost.
If you can join the clearing team ring supporters association chairman Andy Turner on 07889 516922.
If the game goes ahead, both sides will hope for a less stormy affair than when they met in the FA Cup at New Lodge earlier in the season.
Town were more than happy with a 4-0 success, but the game ended with five players -- two from Town -- being sent off.
Dean Morris and Gary Ansell are expected to figure in the home squad. Ansell could make his debut up front as replacement for Jamie Wallace, out on a one-match ban.
Manager Gary Calder will make a late decision between Ansell and Paul Fewings to partner recent signing Andy Douglas.
