Essex Spartans are about to return to training ahead of the upcoming American Football season.
The Basildon-based club, who play in Division Two of the Southern Conference league, will be going through their paces on the Gloucester Park astroturf at 11am on Sunday (January 12).
And head coach Dean Gibson is hoping to welcome anyone interested in getting involved with the club.
"All are welcome to come along -- rookies and players with experience," he said. "We're also starting a junior side this year so youngster can also get involved."

Meanwhile local rivals Southend Sabres are also back in training at their base at Southend Rugby Club.
The recent weather has not hindered progress too much, giving time for the squad to focus on tactics ahead of the coming season.
And as the club looks to build on last season's run to the promotion play-offs they are preparing to welcome five Canadians into the squad.
The two sides meet again at Warners Park on July 13, by which time both squads will hope to be well-placed for the play-offs.
