Tomorrow's game at Leyton Pennant is a classic six-pointer for East Thurrock United.
Rocks have had just one win in 16 games, against Hertford, and know defeat against one of the three teams below them in the table could increase the pressure on manager Lee Patterson.
East Thurrock's most successful boss has taken a bold move in swapping eight-goal top-scorer Luke Bauckham for Aveley's striker Keith Martin, whose tally is nine this term.
Rocks, who have conceded 11 goals in their last three away games, face a Pennant outfit that has not won at home since August.
Bauckham was at Aveley for the closing weeks of last term and his ten goals in eight games came at a crucial time in the club's Division Three promotion challenge.
His role now will be to help move the Millers into the top half of Ryman One North table and end a series of weekend results of four consecutive 1-1 draws.
