Steve Dickens claimed top spot in the Stanford-le-Hope lugworm-only competition.
The Stanford matchman took three flounders and a smelt to win with 110cm.
Gillingham's Ernie Maynard led a Kent charge by taking second with three flounders totalling 87cm.
Trevor Cousins came up from Maidstone and claimed third place with two flounders and a smelt for 81cm.
Benfleet's Ian Reynolds continued his strong run of form by claiming fourth place with two flounders totalling 67cm.
And Canvey's Dion Macfayden came fifth with a pair of flounders for 65cm.
Ian and Dion tied for the longest fish prize after both landed a flounder of 37cm
