Freemasons funded a Christmas party for children from the Little Treasures Parent and Toddler Group, at the residents' hall in Delaware Road, Shoebury.
Soft play equipment, a children's entertainer as well as food and drink were all provided and every child was given a present.
Robert Whittingham, charity steward of the Guy Jerman Lodge which meets at Rochford Masonic Hall in South Street, said: "The group plays an important role in helping the children and their parents to develop good communication and social skills.
"We are proud to be able to demonstrate our commitment to the local community in such a way."
