Marcia Fuller is Tendring Council's student of the year - and that's official!
Marcia, a projects manager in personnel and management services, has picked up the coveted title for 2002 among council staff.
She was presented with a chalice, certificate and cheque by chairman John White at a special ceremony at Clacton Town Hall.
Robert Buke, chairman of the council's manpower services committee, was full of praise.
"Marcia's achievement is the result of an exceptionally high level of commitment and determination to succeed throughout a demanding five-year professional development programme," he said.
Marcia joined the council in 1996, immediately embarking on a career in personnel management.
Five years of part-time postgraduate level professional studies led to her election as a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
