Matt Richards was dreaming of a league debut today after making his latest cup sojourn for Ipswich Town.
The defender caught the eye during his fourth appearance for the Blues in Saturday's 4-0 FA Cup demolition of Morecambe.
And, having previously played in the UEFA and Worthington Cups, Richards told the Evening Gazette: "Now I'm eyeing up my first league appearance.
"I was happy with this performance and hopefully the manager will keep me involved.
"I really enjoyed the game and especially my licence to attack."
The 18-year-old has progressed through the ranks at Portman Road along with two of Saturday's goal heroes, Darren Bent and Darren Ambrose.
Bent struck twice either side of the goal of the game from Ambrose while Jamie Clapham volleyed Ipswich in front after two minutes and their cause was boosted shortly after following the sending off of Morecambe's Jim Bentley.
Ipswich Town will face Sheffield United in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
