ASDA in Chelmer Village has set up a Christmas gift amnesty for customers to get rid of all those unwanted gifts they unwrapped on Christmas morning with a clear conscience.
People can anonymously drop off all of their unwanted presents in store where they will be distributed to various local charities.
General store manager David Prescott said: "You can get rid of all those unwanted gifts from this year, last year or even the year before safe in the knowledge that they are going to a good cause."
The Christmas Gift Amnesty trolley is situated at the front of the store and will remain until Friday January 10 when the contents will be distributed to Chelmsford charities.
