An exhibition with a distinctly eastern European feel opens at Billericay Library tomorrow.
Polcraft, a company specialising in the import of Polish arts and crafts, will be showing a selection of works until January 31.
The company showcases the art of respected Polish artists, including Teresa Pisarska-Markiewicz and Pawel Sochacki.
A Polcraft spokesman said: "Polish people are famous for their humour and spontaneity. Their art gives the same impression."
A library spokesman said: "We are very fortunate to be able to display a selection of water-colours, pastels, silk painting, ceramics and glass painting."
