Brentwood-based Leopards have unveiled Jeff Willms as assistant coach.
The Kansasnative has made an immediate impact in practice and will be on the Leopard bench for the first time this Saturday when Essex visit Birmingham Bullets.
Willms will be involved in all aspects of the Leopard program from scouting, game preparation and bench coaching to practice planning, drillwork and developing perimeter players.
He will also be heavily involved with the Leopards schools program at the Brentwood Centre for kids all over Essex.
The appointment follows the Leopards latest defeat -- 105-70 to Chester Jets -- in the latest round of league action.
