Great Wakering Rovers could hardly have chosen a tougher task as they bid to get their Ryman League Division One North programme back on the win trail tomorrow afternoon.
After their FA Trophy first round heroics -- the village side held Premier Division Ford United at Burroughs Park before crashing 6-1 in extra-time in a midweek replay -- Rovers travel to a Wealdstone side who look like being one of the main contenders for promotion.
Tomorrow's hosts currently stand third in the table but have games in hand on leaders Northwood and second-placed Hornchurch.
Although down in 17th place, Wakering themselves have played fewer games than many of the teams around them.
They have lost just four of their 13 games, but have won only three and their record of sharing the spoils on no less than six occasions is the highest in the division.
