Under fire West Ham boss Glenn Roeder is ready to come out fighting when his side face Leeds United at Upton Park on Sunday.
And the manager insists he has no fears about facing the Upton Park boo-boys so soon after the Hammers continued their miserable home run in the most abject style against second division Oldham.
"I can't run away," said a defiant Roeder. "There's no way I would prefer to be playing away from home on Sunday.
"We have to come out, stand tall and fight. It's about hard work, passion and desire. They can seem like dirty words, but the best teams in the world all do that, just like Liverpool did to us last week."
There is some good news on the injury front, with groin strain victim Paolo Di Canio due to return and Trevor Sinclair hoping to get the go-ahead with a facial mask to protect his fractured cheek.
