Tracey Apps and Jamie Woodyard brought home the silverware for Springfield Striders at the Great Bentley trail race on Sunday.
Apps was first lady and Woodyard first man in the eight mile trail around the beautiful country surrounding Stoke by Nayland.
A strong contingent of Striders ran, with Rob Rodie, Kevin Wright and Neil Bradley all highly placed.
Dave Gray just pipped Ray Charlton and Gary Rayner to the finish and Malcolm Potter, Nigel Gardener and Pat Knowles all had strong runs.
Helen Walker and Theresa Tremain featured for the ladies.
In the longer thirteen mile event the clubs two most experienced trail runners enjoyed differing fortunes.
Andy Mason misread the route description and added a fifteen minute detour which pushed him well out of contention, but Pete Tremain made a promising return to the fray after a long absence through injury.
