Members of the public are to given a chance to voice their concerns about the scourge of fly-tipping in Castle Point.
The Benfleet Forum will address the issues and tell the public of proposals drawn up so far.
A litter hotline scheme was suggested at Castle Point's Community Services Committee on September 17 to enable residents to phone in with complaints about litter problems.
The report to be presented to next week's meeting says: "Members were particularly concerned that fly-tipping of waste is on the increase throughout the borough and is becoming a major problem in some areas."
