Basildon angler Stan Howard continues to take excellent catches at Gloucester Park, topping his recent hauls with a superb ton up mixed bag.
Stan took the enormous 110lb catch from the canal stretch. Luncheon meat and trout pellet baits fished on pole tactics saw him take a procession of fish throughout the day.
His big bag included carp to double figures, 13 barbel, bream, crucians and the odd tench.
A few days later Stan was back at Gloucester Park to try his luck at the incoming canal and netted a 60lb-plus haul.
Two big carp accounted for some 20lbs of his catch, with the rest consisting of crucians, bream, tench and the odd big roach.
