A French woman who had to be cut from her car following a collision on the A120 has died.
Sandrine Sabine Bartolo was left fighting for her life after the black Peugeot 206 she was driving collided with a tree when she was travelling along the road from Great Saling to Blake End at 9.40am on Monday morning.
The car lost control on a right-hand bend and crossed the road before colliding with the tree.
The 27-year-old, of High Street, Romford was taken to Broomfield Hospital, in Chelmsford, with severe injuries.
