Rayleigh Boxing Club enjoyed a pair of successes at Chalvedon's tournament at Basildon's Holiday Inn on Friday.
Jack Wright, aged 11, took on L Martin from the host club and after two rounds of tremendous, fast-paced action there was little to choose between them.
But in the third and final round Jack showed his class with some well-placed, hard-hitting combinations to earn a unanimous verdict from the three judges.
Lee Homer, 16, had a similar result against T Humphries of Ongar, boxing with skill and style throughout to get the nod.
This week Rayleigh's boxers are heading to Tilbury for the National Amateur Boxing Council championship.
