A small church has been left counting the cost after vandals smashed ten of its windows.
Youngsters struck on Hallowe'en and now the Rev Paul Baker said they would be left to pick up the cost of replacing them at the Good Shepherd Church in Coppins Road, Clacton.
He said the building was continually being vandalised and he found it hard to understand why.

"First we had joyriders hit the wall and that was soon completely pulled down," he said.
"We also have the fence panels kicked in regularly and all we can do is keep replacing them each time."
Mr Baker took over the church, which has just 15 members, in 1997.
"It is a very small congregation and the actions of these vandals make it very difficult for us," he added.
