Harwich and Parkeston will switch their focus from their current bottom-placed Jewson League premier division status as they entertain Harlow Town from the Ryman League division one north in the cup.
However, the Shrimpers have not faired well in cup competitions so far this season, losing at the first hurdle in three tournaments.
In their three away cup fixtures Harwich fell 2-0 to Sawbridgeworth Town in the FA Cup, 3-2 at Beaconsfield SYCOB in the FA Vase and at the beginning of October fell 2-1 to Cornard United from the Jewson League division one in extra-time.
Steve McGavin has the same squad to choose from the side that was defeated away at Ely at the weekend.
But, although, McGavin did play for the full 90 minutes, he will be forced to watch on the sidelines as he was not registered in time.
