Ashingdon's Assandun Vikings girls FC have had a lotto success after winning some lottery funds for their newly formed club.
The team, formed in August, were awarded £5,000 which will go towards promoting girls football in the area.

The club has teams at under-12 to under-14 level and are trained by qualified FA coaches at Clements Hall Playing Fields and have teams in the County League.
The lottery award was presented by Eva Mcilwaine, Rochford sports development officer.
