A call to clean up pavements in Rochford town centre will be made to the district council environmental services committee on Thursday.

Labour councillors, led by Rochford member Maureen Vince, will be urging that action is taken.

Mrs Vince said considerable investment had been made to enhance the market square.

But she said already the surface condition of the new footway slabs were badly damaged and giving rise to negative comments from residents.
