The reopening of one of the county's oldest cycle shops after a £75,000 revamp has had to be put back a week.
Cycle King - formerly Prentice's - in Wickford, was due to reopen on Saturday after an 11-week closure.
However, work has taken a little longer than expected at the store, in London Road, and the entirely remodelled store will now open on Saturday, November 9.
Building work was expected to finish this week and the new sign was due to be put up on Friday.
The final week will consist of getting the products into the store and final touches to a new workshop at the back, ground and first floor showrooms and new front windows displays.
Mark Baker, managing director of the store which was taken over by Cycle King about 18 months ago, said: "Unfortunately, we have had to put it back a week because it has taken a bit longer than we anticipated.
"It is looking very good though."
