A family were left homeless today after fire ripped through their Laindon home on Saturday morning.
Fire crews were called to the scene, in Bourne Close at around 7.05am to find the mid-terrace house well ablaze.
The family, who have not been named, escaped uninjured from the blaze and are now being looked after by social services.
