Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault where a man punched another in the face several times.
The incident happened at the Abbey National, in Southend High Street, within the Costa Coffee shop inside the bank.
Police, who have only just revealed details of the attack, want to trace a man who had an argument with a member of staff at the bank and then struck him in the face numerous times.
The attacker is described as white, aged between 25 and 30, 5ft 10ins tall, slim with short dark brown heavily gelled hair, shaved at the sides. He was wearing a black leather jacket, white shirt and light trousers.
The attack happened at 5.10pm on June 7 - call PC John Turrell at Southend police on 01702 431212.
