West Ham hover on the brink of the relegation zone once again after defeat at league leaders Liverpool -- but manager Glenn Roeder admitted he was more concerned about the side's home form.
There is no shame in losing 2-0 at Anfield, even if a more attacking approach might have paid dividends against a side which did not look wholly assured in defence.
But while he praised the effort his side put into an unfavourable situation, Roeder clearly understands his future depends on delivering at Upton Park.
"We look to keep the possession of the ball and Liverpool pressed us in a way which made it very difficult for us to create anything significant for ourselves," he admitted.
"But we have come to a team four points clear at the top of the Premiership and it was always going to be a very tough game. My biggest concern is the lack of home form at the moment."
Captain Steve Lomas had the best of the limited opportunities West Ham created, heading over in the first half before seeing a close range effort blocked just after the break.
