Volunteers from Ford spent part of the summer redecorating the community room at Belhus library in Derry Avenue, South Ockendon, for the toy library scheme funded by the Early Years Development Partnership.

Members can hire a wide variety of toys, from those for the garden to puzzles, for between 25p and £2 a fortnight.
The toys are suitable for children up to the age of eight. Membership of the Toy Box is free until Christmas and will be £5 a year after that.
