Councillors have rubber stamped parking restrictions on grass verges outside Southend Hospital.
Drivers desperate for parking spaces near the hospital will no longer be able to legally park on the expanse of grass in front of the hospital.
The environmental scrutiny committee met last night to agree the use of restrictions under the Road Traffic and Regulation Act.
