The shadow Secretary of State for Trade and Industry has called on householders who are still suffering from power cuts to contact him directly.
MP Tim Yeo has called for action after ministers refused to back compensation claims in the House of Commons from households facing power problems after the recent stormy weather.
More than 3,000 households are still without power since the storms knocked out power supplies.
Mr Yeo said: "Anybody who is still struggling to receive essential services can contact me directly on email and I will personally assure them their details will reach the energy minister and the secretary of state."
