The people of Essex are being urged to vote for singer Chloe Staines in Popstars: The Rivals.
The 18-year-old from Chelmsford will be singing for survival in the ITV1 show at 7pm tomorrow.
Her mother, Dawn, is seeking support by distributing leaflets around the county town, urging people to vote for Chloe.
The youngster will sing live to the nation, as people are invited to phone in and vote for who should stay in the competition, which seeks to find a boy and girl band to battle it out for the Christmas number one.
A former Rainsford High School pupil, Chloe got through the first round of voting two weeks ago.
Dawn said: "Chloe is looking forward to it but there is a lot of tension. She has chosen her song and now needs the support of the people of Essex."
