The Pam Paine medal at Ballards Gore Ladies was held on a chilly day with Norma Higginson winning on an excellent 75. Pat Rogers was runner-up on 79.
Wendy Ross won the silver October medal, beating Lisa Barker on countback. Barbara O'Brien took bronze on countback from Jan McKeown.

The Menning Duet Cup survived the weather with Pauline Leeks and Lyn Young winning on countback from Pat Rogers and Barbara Steven.
The Rowe Endeavour was also hit by bad weather. The nine-hole event went to Barbara Kyd on 16 points from Barbara Steven (14).
The Stableford, played on the same day over nine holes. went to Vivien Fearn (19 points) from Lisa Barker (15), who beat Lyn Young on countback.
