Pike fishing has dominated the action at Basildon's Aquatels lake in recent weeks, with some big fish coming to the surface.
The best catches have come from the quays bay area, with specimins weighing at more than 20lb.
Craig Monroe took the first 20-pounder of the winter on livebait from the quays, while Kevin Leach had five fish ranging from 5lb to 20lb.
James Hogsden also took a quintet, going up to 18lb 2oz, while Billy Wilton also cleared 18lb from the duckboards with lures.
