A Southend nightclub owner told today how he and his staff battled to save the life of a man seriously injured following an incident in the town centre.
Kerpal Bains, who runs the Storm venue in Elmer Approach, and one of his doormen administered mouth-to-mouth resuscitation on 28-year-old Dr Patrick Landers as he lay unconscious.
But despite their brave efforts, the victim lost his fight for life on Monday.
