Firefighters were called to another farm fire after arsonists struck for the second time in just over 24 hours.
About ten tons of hay and a small barn were destroyed in last night's blaze at Thorpe.
The previous day thousands of pounds worth of baled straw were destroyed at Walton.
Two engines from Clacton and one from Frinton attended the blaze on land off St Michael's Road.
The fire was reported just before 7pm and firemen spent two hours on the scene.
Arson is suspected and police investigators are due to examine the scene with firefighters today
