A dazed fundraiser woke up having spent an uncomfortable night in a car, but with a bucket full of cash to show for her efforts.
Sindy Carmichael-Brown, 45, a market researcher at Ford's Dunton base, decided to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer by bedding down for the night in a Ford Fusion.
The car was painted pink, the charity's official colour, and shift workers were encouraged to dip into their pockets and sponsor the unusual sleepover.
Sindy, from Brentwood, has raised at least £580.
