Rochford were unable to hang on to an early lead as a much-changed Chingford got their revenge for last week's Intermediate Cup defeat.
Dave Wheeler's took a 7-0 lead when outstanding scrum-half Andy Baker took advantage of his side's dominance of the set pieces to wrongfoot the opposition for a try, which Ryan Dann converted.
Rochford held the lead at 7-5 at the break and had the wind advantage on the second period, but they conceded a soft converted try to put themselves on the back foot.
Two more tries then went in before Gavin Taylor added a late consolation try that was scant reward for the effort that an injury-hit Rochford side had put in.
