Purfleet's Heritage and Military Centre will be marking the build-up to Remembrance Sunday with an exhibition starting this weekend.
The special exhibition tells the story of the First World War through photographs, uniforms, battlefield relics and film.
It will be open to the public on both the initial Saturday and Sunday, November 2 and 3, but it is also set to open every Thursday and Sunday until the end of the year.
Admission to the event is £2 for adults and 75p for children. Under-fives can go in free.
Opening times are 10am to 4.30pm each Sunday till until November 16 and 10am to 3pm each Sunday after.
