A home draw with Southend United in the third round of the Essex Senior Cup has delighted Ryman League Division One North Great Wakering Rovers.
Ryman Premier Billericay Town host Division One North Wivenhoe, while Basildon United will travel to fellow Foresters Essex Senior League side Barkingside if successful in next Tuesday's second round tie at Waltham Abbey.
There's a Thurrock local derby with Premier side Purfleet hosting Division One North East Thurrock United, while Tilbury, also from Division One North, travel to Premier Ford United.
Southend Manor boss Mark Jenkins will be up against old mate Steve Jones -- both were playing colleagues at Billericay Town -- when Southend Manor, from the Senior League, visit the Hornchurch Division One North outfit Jones currently plays for.
Grays, making big improvements recently under the managership of Mark Stimson, will relish a home tie with Nationwide Conference Dagenham and Redbridge, last season's beaten finalists.
Due to Brightlingsea withdrawing from the competition, current holders Canvey have a bye into round four.
Third round matches are due to be staged on or before November 16.
